NEIL ALINEを万一知らなくとも、Chez Music（シェ）を知らないDeep/Garage Houseファンは居ないであろう。昨年のビッグヒット"It's yours/Jon Cutler"がN.Y./UKを含むEurope全土のクラブチャートを総嘗めにし一躍レーベルは脚光を浴びる事となった。マイアミで毎年開催されているWMC/ミュージックセミナーでもこの数年間、あのFrancois KのWAVEミュージックとパーティを共催している事からも、いかにクラブシーンでChezレーベルが重要視されているかが観て取れる。そのリリースの中にはBasement boysのDJ SPENや、Naked MusicのMiguel Migs/Jay-J、DJ Pierre、Pound Boys,Saturday Night Soul(a.k.a Jason Jinx), Mattias Heilbronn ＆Romatt（DJ ROMAINの別名義）の作品等があり、そのハイクオリティな楽曲は数々のTop DJによってプレイされている。DJとしてはNYCで今最もホットなAPTとCIERO（FrancoisがDeep SpaceというパーティをやっているのもこのCiero)でレギュラーパーティを持ち、London,Paris等ヨーロッパの各首都やアジアにもゲストDJとして招かれている。NYCで最も有名なクラブ情報誌Villege Voiceにはこう書かれている。

It's not easy for an outsider to break into the small circle of party people who make up New York City’s dance-music elite, but the 27-year-old deep-house doyen Neil Aline has not only entered that celebrated coterie,he’s become one of its main men. Soon after the Tahiti-born, Paris-bred Aline became a student at NYU in '97, he filled a gaping hole in the city’s airwaves by starting up the BPM show on the university’s radio station.BPM quickly became a favorite stop for DJs many of the city’s―and the world’s―top spinners.Aline used the connections made through BPM to book and promote the NYC edition of the fabulous French soiree Respect is Burning at the now-defunct superclub Twilo. And he continued his rise to the top of the city’s club scene by spinning a blend of sublimely deep house, gorgeous vocal material and tough tribal beats at parties big and small all over town. But it’s through Chez Music, the record label that he established when only 23, that Aline’s name has become synonymous with high-quality house music. The label has released tracks from such esteemed artists as Llorca. Miguel Migs, Alan Braxe and DJ Spen , and Jon Culter and E-man’s “It’s Yours” was one of THE club hits of ’01, and reached number one on dance-music charts around the world. Chez has also released the Aline-mixed On the Rocks compilation, which serves as a perfect introduction to his smooth-as-silk mixing technique and selection skills.The success of Chez had enabled Aline to take his deejaying career to the next level. He currently hold’s down residencies at two of NYC’s hottest of hot spots, APT and Cielo, and he guest-DJs at clubs all over town and travels around the country to work the ones and twos. He’s also been hard at work on his international re´sume, and has spun everywhere from European capitals like Paris, London, Zurich and Brussels to Asian metropolises such as Tokyo and Shanghai―and even his native Tahiti! But it’s still in NYC that Aline’s influence is most felt. Flyer magazine summed up it up thusly: "Considering the current decline of club life in the city, Neil Aline is pumping needed life's breath into our endangered scene. He's taking the risks we need to take." But Tricia Romano, the nightlife editor of the Village Voice, said it best: “Anything with Chez Music's Neil Aline's name attached to it is a guaranteed go.” |

BarのレジデンツDJとしてキャリアをスタート。FURA,CODEのOPENING DJを経てLIQUID ROOM,MIX,CORE,YELLOW, JOULE,MISSION,PLANET他,現在迄数多くの様々な箱でPLAY。
海外DJとの共演も、Dimitri From Paris, Glenn Fricier (WKTU), Tony Vaughn(WBLS),DJ Romain(Eturnal Sun/Romatt Project)と幅広い。幅広い選曲でストーリーを作り上げられる数少ないDJの一人。Produce/Mixを手掛けたUKのChillifunkレーベルコンピレーション"Chillifunk Best"が好セールスを記録。この12月にリリースされる今回のNeilのChez, WaveMusic, Distant, MetroTrax,Nu-Faze等が一同に会した話題のNYCアンダーグラウンドコンピレーション"MODE"プロジェクトでもProducerとしての手腕を発揮している。
He started his professional carrier at the Legendary Club J-Trip Bar in 1992 where so many famous DJ played, like Larry Levan, Devid Depino, Frankie Knuckles, Francois K etc... Then he spined as Guest DJ at many famous clubs...Liquid Room, Core, Yellow, Module, Joule, etc. Also played with Dimitri From Paris, Glenn Fricier(WKTU NYC),Tony Vaughn(WBLS), DJ Romain(Eturnal Sun/Romatt Project). His style is based on NYC Garage style. Now he is realized one of the representative underground DJ in Tokyo.He established Unity Records with "Soulful Music Master" Dr.K in 1996. Since then Unity records released almost 80 titles of CD and Vinyl. which are R&B, HIP-HOP, HOUSE, JAZZFUNK, D'N'B,etc...all about the dance music! Last year he produced and mixed the "Chillifunk compilation" that is UK soulful quality music label.He started the next compilation project "Mode" incuding the leading underground NYC labels, Neil's Chez Music, Wave Music, Jon Cutler's Distant Music, and DJ Romain's MetroTrax etc. This December Unity Records will release this brand new compilation, "MODE. 伝統的なGARAGE～DEEPのルーツを持ったHOUSE DJ ISAO、関西主要クラブ（UNDER LOUNGE/JOULE/GRAND CAFE & Eacute;/WORLD/I to I/FLATt/DONFLEX LOUNGE 等）にて活動し、着実にプレイグラウンドを広げ活動しているDJとも競演し（ROY DAVIS jr(chicago)/MATTHIAS 'MATTY' HEILBRON(N.Y.)/KALIM SHABAZZ(N.Y.)/DJ SPINNA(N.Y.)/NICK JONES(N.Y.)/DIMITRI from PARIS(paris)/FRANKIE VALENTINE(London)/ALTON MILER(Detroit)等）関西では信頼度の高いDJである。その他、WORLD KYOTOにおいては、ディレクターを勤め、また、Casual production(大阪）にて自ら立ち上げるなど関西クラブシーンにて幅広く活動している。 |

ブレットは1984年に、ローラーディスコでグランドマスターフラッシュとシュガーヒルレコードでDJを始めた。１年を通して初期ラップのランプファンク要素が彼のDJセットの重要な一部となった。またみんながダンスフロアーで自己を失っていくのも好き。彼の現在のサウンドはドープでダーティなファンキートライバルアシッドハウスと言える。彼はアーバンオーガニック、サウンドメカニックであり、そしてスーパーDJパワーで地球を自由に飛び回る。
Brett began djing in 1984 in a roller-disco, playing Grand Master Flash &
Sugar Hill records. Through the years, the rump-funk element of early rap has
been an important part of his dj sets. In other words, he likes when people are
going insane on the dance floor.His current sound might best be described as dope
anddirty funky tribal acid house. He’s urban-organic, a sound mechanic, and super
dj powers help him fly around the planet. |

SPREAD EXPERIMENT
ツチイワフミユキと橋村進吾を中心とした映像製作プロジェクト。プロジェクト開始は1998年春。活動当初はプロモーションビデオを意識した短編のサンプル映像をいくつか製作。
2001年2月にVJとして橋村進吾がパフォーマンスをしたのを切っ掛けとして、翌年1月に本格的にSPREAD EXPERIMENTとしてVJ活動開始。現在はVJという新たな活動基点を加え、プロモーションビデオ制作など映像全般を扱って自らを表現するというプロジェクトへ推移している。
